They make great graduation gifts, but you MUST order these in advance (no later than Sunday, May 18 for grad gifts). Yes! American Express cards ARE available through the Scrip program. There are NO fees for purchasing these cards. 

We cannot keep American Express cards on hand due to the new credit card laws. There are several easy steps to order them at ShopwithScrip.com:

Register with ALA and order:

1. Set up your account at ShopwithScrip.com and register with ALA's number: 99C4D2751263   

2. Order gift cards (they'll be sent to you via your student, your  Scrip rep or USPS)

Payment options:

1. Sign up for PrestoPay. It is completely safe and debits your checking or savings account for a 15 cent fee.
2. Choose "pay by check" option. (This also includes cash. We cannot accept debit/credit cards for American Express Scrip due to fees incurred.) Submit your check or cash to ALA asap.

American Express cards have returned, but in a special way. Here's how to order:

1. They must be ordered through ShopwithScrip.com. (ALA can not stock these cards.)

2. Set up your ShopwithScrip.com account with ALA's registration number: 99C4D2751263
3. Order the American Express cards that you need (and any other cards too).
4. Choose to pay with PrestoPay (strongly recommended) or to submit a check to ALA or your Scrip rep.
5. The ALA Scrip coordinator will receive your order and include your order on the weekly ALA order.

ALA places its Scrip order on Sunday evenings at 8 pm. Please submit your order before this time. Cards generally arrive at ALA on Tuesday mornings. The cards will be sent to you via your Scrip rep or an ALA student or via USPS.
