Safeway resolved their issues

Safeway Is Coming Back!    GREAT NEWS!  Please be advised that Safeway has resolved their card stocking issues and we are anticipating delivery of gift cards by the end of next week.  As soon as the Safeway Gift Cards are available, you will be notified by email.  The announcement will also be posted on the ShopWithScrip.com What's New page and on Facebook.   Don't forget that the popular Safeway Gift Card is redeemable at Safeway, Vons, Pavilions, Genuardis, Dominick's, Carrs, Randalls and Tom Thumb store locations nationwide.

Safeway bad news

Our ALA Scrip Program still has a good number of $25 and $100 cards that will be available for purchase. Once those are gone it looks like we will not be able to replenish our supply per the news below. Safeway No Longer Available   Please be advised that Safeway Gift Cards are no longer available.  Presently, we do not know if or when the gift cards will again be available.  As an alternative, we suggest you use the American Express® Gift Card (available ONLY through ShopWithScrip.com)for your Safeway purchases.  We apologize for the short notice, but Safeway's decision to stop selling their gift cards came without warning.
